When things don’t go your way, when the world knocks you down, you’ve got two choices: give-up or fight. It’s not about arguing to change someone’s mind or opinion. The choice is to lick your wounds and feel sorry for yourself or to pick yourself up, learn a lesson, and fight for yourself…to take care of you. To become the best version of yourself.

Don’t stay down.

Keep fighting.

I believe in you.

Maybe life feels like you can’t see to the other side through the fog. You can’t see the silver lining or how things will work out or will work for your good. That’s where trust comes in. But it certainly isn’t easy. Especially when hope is a distant memory.

God has plans for you to give you a future and hope (Jeremiah 29:11). Keep fighting for hope. Keep trusting, even when it’s hard. Let people surprise you. God will never leave you (Hebrews 13:5).

Can I step out of the boat like St. Peter and walk upon the waves in the middle of a storm (Matt 14:22-33)? Not on my own. I need to keep my eyes fixed on Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior. The One who died for you and for me. Just like Peter, if I take my eyes off Jesus, I stumble, falter, and sink. But with just a single cry for help, He is there. He rescues me. He will rescue you, too. Call on Him.

You’re stronger than you know. He’s stronger than you think. I don’t know why you’re suffering or when it will cease, but I do know that He will give you strength to endure if you rely on Him. It can be difficult to wait patiently on His timing as you pray for release. But don’t lose hope. He wants to free you. He wants you to trust in Him. He wants to give you a miracle.
